Another 9K+ night! Yes! Just closed out Chapter 9 and ready to roll with Chapter 10 tomorrow as the next game of lost souls unfolds. With Jack marked by Lucifer and Talia without her angel of death powers.
Some happy reunions ahead and another opportunity for Jack’s ex-girlfriend to try and kill him as he and Talia work through the reality TV show’s new couple’s challenges. To see which matched couples will stay together. But Talia’s still got some tricks up her sleeve to keep Lucifer from claiming her and Jack’s souls.
Things are really ramping up. Starting to move fast. And maybe by the time things start to fall apart, I’ll actually know how this one ends?

Blew past 20K and closing fast on 25K. Just finished writing a crazy fun battle with assassin demons and hellhounds. Gotta love those romance novels! (hey, I still haven’t killed anybody yet in this book!) And now, Jack and Talia are headed for the next round of a game of lost souls. And they have no idea what they’re getting themselves into. But I do (mwuahahah!)
Break time. Last walk until tomorrow’s Zombie Run. Hope I don’t walk like a Dawn of the Dead mall zombie.

Added a total word count for the month. Gives me a little extra motivation.
Spent a couple hours this morning dealing with that paperwork and my mail-in ballot, so a little later start today. Halfway through my ballot, Bella decided she needed to be held. And being the sucker that I am, I caved. Still debating on whether to drop it off or go in person to cast my vote.
And now, I have an action plan for completing and filing the condo paperwork to install my Murphy bed. Should have that turned in early next week. Things are feeling handled and under control. The people in this complex just rock. So incredibly nice and helpful. Really cut my stress level in half over getting this install done.
I did rack up 2100 words or so even if I’m a couple hours behind. Hoping to catch up this afternoon and sprint past 20K (3 pages away) and keep moving toward that 25K. It’s within reach.
Back at it…
