Blew the doors off 75K with three minutes to spare. Wow, just upped my highest daily word count ever to the above number, too. Just couldn’t stop going. So much is happening and I just couldn’t type fast enough to get it all down before the clock ran out. Just started Chapter 27 with a heavy moment for Jack and relief for Talia. Everything is just moving so damned fast…
I’ll pick it all up in Chapter 27 tomorrow.

You’re stopping?!? You can’t stop! Jack’s about to get his head handed to him in a fight and—and your just…LEAVING?????

At the five o’clock hour, just slipped past 70K.
Hit the onramp to the interstate. Got a few miles before I hit the Autobahn. And all those balls in the air are starting to shake a little as I open Chapter 25. Gonna start falling very soon.

Feeling a little sluggish today. Sinuses have been kicking my butt all week, but they’re worse today. Making me feel crappy. Trying to power through it.
Closing in on 70K today. Story rollercoaster’s climbing slowly up that big hill, almost ready to drop me into that last frenzied leg of this book.
Knowing what I know right now on how this one ends, I’m going to want to resolve all of this. Book 2 will tie up all the little expected story threads promised, but it’s gonna end on a downbeat. Setting up the events of book 3. And its going to make me want to resolve all of these events. So…I may just press on into Book 3.
